Yoga, Wellbeing and more
Hi there. I am Ursina
Yoga teacher, endurance athlete and your greatest motivator.
Come with me and my team in the world of movement, silence, transformation and joy.
At URSINA, we are passionate about yoga and moving in the pristine natural beauty of the Engadin. We are grateful that we can offer our services in such a special environment. With respect for the human being and what she brings as a personal story, at URSINA we meet you where you are. Classes, workshops, and retreats are focussed, mindful, and designed to advance the personal objectives of every student. Authenticity and high quality are the central values of the brand.
The crisp, fresh mountain air and the unique light of the Engadin combined with our professional guidance make this an unmatched experience.
Move the body – Still the mind. URSINA’s philosophy is all about the duality of movement – both as a sport and as an internal evolutionary process – and yoga – a practice centred on the search for balance between polarities. These contrasts have been captured in our logo where you can find both dynamism and static equilibrium. The black and white colours also indicate this contrast, and yet project a certain harmony. The U of the name Ursina (typical of the Canton of Grisons) is rooted in the ground and is also reaching for the sky, depicting our connection to the earth as well as to something bigger in the universe. Look closely and you will find the profile of Piz Bernina, the highest summit of the Engadin region, and a place dear to Ursina. The love for the territory and the mountains is an essential component of URSINA’s being and it’s but natural that it should be reflected in our logo.
A ball of sparkling energy, Ursina Maria Francesca Badilatti is a global citizen and a lover of new things and ideas. She’s passionate, natural, and fascinated by the human being and human experience. Her idea of creating an offering that combines yoga with nature and movement was born through her personal mission to spread the magic of yoga and her knowledge in sports.
Ursina has been a dedicated athlete, competing professionally as a cross-country skier until 2013 while also studying economics. She later transitioned into working in marketing and events. It wasn’t until her move to Berlin, Germany in 2015 (where there were no mountains to run up and down) that she discovered yoga, and a deeply enriching connection that took hold and has been with her ever since.
Ursina’s personal path has been shaped by her career as a professional athlete. It taught her how to be disciplined and self-motivated as well as organised and consistent. This combined with the practice of yoga, allowed Ursina to focus on the body, mind, and soul, and eventually create a more holistic approach to wellbeing.
Having grown up in Poschiavo, a quaint village nestled on the Swiss/Italian border, Ursina is fluent in both German and Italian. She studied English at high school and can therefore offer classes in all three languages. Ursina teaches Forrest Yoga. Her passion for yoga and endurance sports, her positive energy, and her sunny personality will motivate you and challenge you to move a step closer to your personal goals.
